Temperature: minus 12 degrees Celsius at the Tokachidake Hot Springs (Tokachidake Onsen).
North-west winds were strong. The visibility was very low because of fog (inside the clouds) and ground blizzard. It was very difficult to distinguish unevenness on the road because of the bad visibility. He did the training paying the best attention to cars approaching because there would be risks not to be recognised by automobilists.
