Mt.Tokachidake (Mt.Tokachi) 154
Temperature: minus 4 degrees Celsius at the Tokachidake Hot Springs (Tokachidake Onsen).
The road was covered with a muddy snow. It made him difficult to ride comfortably on the steep climb. So he did the interval training not at the summit but on a small hill situated between the Tokachidake Hot Springs and the Fukiage Hot Springs. He met a Mexican hiker at the summit and talked with him for a while. It’s very rare to have occasion to speak Spanish here.
