Temperature: minus 2 degrees Celsius at the Tokachidake Hot Springs (Tokachidake Onsen)
It’s rare to have so good snow in the first week of the October. The surface of snow was crusted. It had been melted during the night due to high temperature of asphalt and was frozen by the cold air of the morning. The snow state was bad beneath 1200m of altitude. He repeated the interval training above that altitude.
