Mt.Tokachidake (Mt.Tokachi) 134

Temperature: minus 7 degrees Celsius at the Tokachidake Hot Springs (Tokachidake Onsen)

We were in the latter half of April. So, the road surface temperature was high. The road was snow covered above the altitude of 600m but the snow beneath the fresh snow was half melted due to the high asphalt temperature. However, the air temperature was low enough. Therefore, after the snow removal, half-melted snow appeared and frozen soon being exposed to the cold air. So the road was covered with hard ice after the snow removal and it was good for biking. The itinerary was always in the clouds and the supercooled water of clouds kept freezing the brake rotors and wires. You needed more time than usual to put the brakes effective. After the interval training at the summit, he descended up to the Fukiage Hot Springs and made a U-turn. He climbed a small hill and did a long sprint training at its summit.
