Temperature: minus 15 degrees Celsius at the Tokachidake Hot Springs (Tokachidake Onsen) and minus 20 degrees Celsius in the KTV (katabatic valley).

Maximal velocity: 72.0km/h

There was an inversion layer because of a radiative cooling. The road was covered with well compacted snow and ice. He heard the sound of frost crack 4-5 times during the climb. The diamond dust was falling from the sky. You could observe the light pillar as the diamond dust was reflecting the sun light. He repeated the interval training at the summit many times as the weather was good. He met many foreign skiers at the summit and he talked with about 50 of them (4-5 groups of English and American skiers, 3 groups of Australian skiers and a group of Norwegian skiers). Many of them said the snow in their countries (of northern hemisphere) was not so good in this season, therefore, they had come to ski here. After the descent, he continued his training at the foot of the mountain.
