It snowed a lot. The snow depth reached 1.8m in Ainosato. He headed for Oyafuru but the road along the Barato River was buried in the snow as the snow removal had been unable to keep up the speed of the snowfall. He renounced the training in Oyafuru as the road wasn’t motorable. He changed the direction and headed for Barato. There, he was forced to stop for a while as the visibility went had become zero because of the ground blizzard.
