Temperature: minus 3 degrees Celsius at the Tokachidake Hot Springs (Tokachidake Onsen).
It ceased to snow during the night. The road was snow covered only above 1150m of altitude. The snow on the road half melted as the road surface temperature was high. However, the temperature went down in the morning and the snow surface was well crusted. So the road surface condition wasn’t bad. He repeated the interval training above 1150m of altitude.
